XIUSoftTerms of Service
These terms apply to the XIUSoft website (xiu.kr) and the XIUSoft account (account.xiu.kr). An individual product such as LiveSSH also has its own terms; where the two differ, the product's terms prevail for that product (LiveSSH: LiveSSH Terms of Service).

1. About these terms
“We” and “XIUSoft” mean XIUSoft (시우소프트) of the Republic of Korea, business registration number 752-41-01398, 901-401, 33 Dongtanjungsimsangga 1-gil, Dongtan-gu, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. The “Service” means the website xiu.kr and the XIUSoft account (account.xiu.kr and sign-in to XIUSoft products). “You” means the person using the Service.
No steps are needed to view the website. By creating or signing in to a XIUSoft account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it.
2. Eligibility
To create a XIUSoft account you must be at least 16 and old enough to enter into a contract under the law of your country; otherwise a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms for you as far as your country's law allows. The Service is not available where the law of your country forbids it or where we are forbidden to provide it (for example, trade sanctions).
3. The XIUSoft account
The XIUSoft account lets you sign in to several XIUSoft products with one account and manage your profile, sign-in methods, products and subscriptions and devices on the account page. The account is free. You sign in with an Apple or Google account; we do not receive a separate password.
Keep the Apple or Google account you sign in with, and your devices, secure. Activity through your account is treated as yours; if you suspect unauthorised use, sign out everywhere on the account page and tell us at contact@xiu.kr. An account is for one person.
4. Acceptable use
You will not:
- use the Service to break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- use another person's account or impersonate anyone;
- overload our servers, probe, scan or try to break into them without permission, or bypass rate limits, authentication or security measures;
- harvest the Service in bulk by automated means or disrupt it.
We may suspend or limit accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these rules, with notice in advance where practicable.
5. Products, subscriptions and payments
The features, prices, free trials, renewal, cancellation and refunds of each XIUSoft product are governed by that product's terms. This site takes no payments. Subscriptions are paid in stores such as the App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store, which, as merchants of record, handle payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. The account page only shows the status of your subscriptions and links to the stores' management pages.
6. Intellectual property
The text, design, logos, mascot and other content of the website belong to us or their rightful owners. Except where the law allows, you may not copy, distribute, modify or commercially exploit them without our permission. Third-party trademarks (for example Apple, Google, Microsoft) belong to their owners.
7. Changes and availability
We may add, change or discontinue features to improve the Service or to comply with the law. Where practicable, we announce important changes that are unfavourable to you in advance. The Service may be interrupted temporarily for maintenance, outages or reasons beyond our control.
8. Termination and account deletion
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account on the account page > Delete account. Deleting the account deletes it for every XIUSoft product that uses it. Store subscriptions are not cancelled by deleting the account; cancel them in the store.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms (after notice where practicable) or where the law requires it. If we stop providing the Service, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. When an account ends, data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive (for example intellectual property, liability, governing law) survive.
9. Disclaimer
As far as the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will work without interruption or errors. This section does not remove any warranty or remedy that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded (for example Korean consumer law and the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the EU Digital Content Directive, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Australian Consumer Law).
10. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill. Our total liability for the Service, which is free, is limited to US$50. Liability relating to a product is governed by that product's terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury, fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, breach of mandatory consumer protection or data protection law, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. In Germany and countries with similar rules, for slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, and only for damage that was typical and foreseeable when the contract was made.
11. Third-party services
The Service uses third-party sign-in services such as those of Apple and Google. Their terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute about them or the Service are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, this applies only so far as it does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you usually live.
Please contact us first at contact@xiu.kr; we will try in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days. For business users, the Seoul Central District Court has exclusive jurisdiction. For consumers, the Seoul Central District Court is an additional, non-exclusive forum, which does not take away your right to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live. We do not require arbitration and do not ask you to waive the right to take part in a class action.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms and will post each new version with its date. We announce important or unfavourable changes at least 30 days before they take effect, and other changes at least 7 days before, on the website or by email. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before that date.
14. General
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect. Our not exercising a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your position under these terms without our consent; we may transfer it to a successor of the business.
